“Ms Dhoni is in….”Sourav Ganguly Reminds This Young Star On His Comparisons with Legend.

Team India’s young wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel has been in the news since team India defeated the visitors England in Ranchi in the fourth test match of the series.

Dhruv Jurel was one of the protagonists in India’s victory over England in the fourth test match, as the wicketkeeper batter showed his temperament and class by scoring an elegant 90 after the hosts were reduced to 177/7.

After his knock of 90, Dhruv Jurel earned praise from all over the cricketing world, as various former Indian players like Sunil Gavaskar and Anil Kumble hailed him as the next Ms. Dhoni and future superstar of Indian cricket.

Speaking of the same team, India’s former captain and prince of Bangal, Sourav Ganguly, also pointed out similarities between Ms. Dhoni and Dhruv Jurel, but Ganguly feels that Ms. Dhoni is in a different league.

In his recent interaction with Rev Sportz Ganguly, he said, “Dhruv Jurel, what a Test match he had under pressure on a difficult wicket. There is huge talent, and if you miss it and you go back down the ladder, it will be very hard to come back. MS. Dhoni is in a different league. Jurel has talent; there’s no doubt about it. But it took MS Dhoni 20 years to be MS Dhoni. Rather, it took 15 years for Dhoni to be Dhoni. So let him [Jurel] play. Jurel’s ability to play spin, pace, and, most importantly, perform under pressure. That’s what you look for in a youngster.”.
Jurel made his debut for India in the third test match of the series and made an impressive 46 on his debut.

As team India is set to face England in the final test match of the series, India would hope Jurel would continue his form with the bat.

Team India will also boosted with the return of jasprit bumrah who is set to return to the test team after being rested for the fourth test match.
Team India is currently leading the series 3-1.
