Squad Update: Jasprit Bumrah Released, Star Batter Absent for 4th Test, Check Out The Updated Squad

Team India will be up against England for the fourth time in the series as the two teams are set to face each other in Ranchi on February 23.

However, ahead of the start of the fourth test match of the series, team India has dealt with a couple of huge blows as team India’s pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah, along with Kl Rahul, are set to miss the test match in Ranchi.

Mukesh Kumar, who was recently seen playing in a Ranji Trophy game, has rejoined India’s squad after being released from the third test match of the series.

Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the fourth test for managing his workload as the pacer has bowled more than 80 overs while team India’s star batter, Kl Rahul, continues to recover from injury.

India are currently leading the series by 2-1, but if England makes a comeback in Ranchi, then team India will be keen to get jasprit in for the final tussle, which is going to be held in Dharamshala on March 7.

On the other hand, team India’s inform batter, Kl Rahul, was ruled out after the first match of the series due to a quadriceps injury and continues to recover. His participation in the fifth test match is also doubtful.

India’s squad for the 4th Test: Rohit Sharma (C), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel (WK), KS Bharat (WK), Devdutt Padikkal, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, and Akash Deep.
