One of the most prolific openers in Indian cricket, Gautam Gambhir, has been known for his aggressive nature and rift with players on the field. His fight with Virat Kohli is still one of the most talked-about incidents in cricket.
However, his former KKR teammate Manoj Tiwari, who has been all over the news for quite some time now, made a revelation about a shocking incident that took place between Gautam Gambhir and him.
Manoj Tiwari said The fight he had with Gambhir that day is the only regret he has because people who know him will tell them that he is not that sort of person who goes out there and fights with seniors. It is one of those memories that he could have avoided.
Manoj Tiwari further stated that he has a good relationship with my seniors, but due to one incident, it has spoiled his image.
Gambhir and Manoj Tiwari were once part of the KKR setup. The former Bengal skipper also revealed that he was once very close with Gautam Gambhir, but they eventually got separated after that incident.
Tiwary also revealed that Gambhir once asked him to meet outside to settle an argument, but it never happened.
Tiwari further said, Gambhir is a passionate cricketer, and so am I. But at times, passion brings out certain emotions that should not occur in the public domain. It was unexpected, and so many other things were said. But I made no mistake in doing so.
The two players never met outside to settle their dispute.
