Big Blow For Sri Lanka, Star All-Rounder Ruled Out Of 2023 ODI World Cup

As reported by, Hasaranga will be unable to take part in this prestigious tournament in India due to a hamstring injury. Sri Lanka Cricket has a four-day window remaining to name a replacement for Hasaranga as the deadline for finalizing World Cup squads is September 28.

The eagerly awaited ODI World Cup 2023 is set to kick off on October 5th in India, featuring a match between England and New Zealand, the two finalists from the previous edition. Sri Lanka will play its first match against South Africa on October 7th.
