Bhuvneshwar Kumar Is On The Edge To Set The World Record In The T20I History

Currently, Indian senior pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar is leading the Indian side in the bowling attack. Indian bowling attacks have been improved since Asia Cup 2022 but still, they need some clinical improvement to destroy a strong batting attack. Earlier, the Indian team have lost the all-important encounter against England by 10 wickets in the T20 World Cup semi-final match.

Now, the Indian team is on the tour of New Zealand to play the three T20I series under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya and the opening match of the series will be played on 18th November.
The veteran bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is standing on the edge to add another important record to his name in the T20I format. Indian pacer needs just 4 wickets to achieve a massive feat in T20I cricket. He has played 30 matches and took 36 wickets for the Indian team in 2022. If Bhuvi can take four wickets in the upcoming series against New Zealand, then he will be the most wicket-taker in a calendar year. Currently, Ireland’s Joshua Brian Little holds the record of most wicket-taker in the T20I in a calendar year. He has taken 39 wickets in 26 matches and is at the top position in this list.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has played 85 matches and took 89 wickets in the T20I format and series will start from the 18th of November against New Zealand and he will try to take 4 more wickets to become the most wicket taker in T20I in a calendar year.
