Pat Cummins’ Blunt Verdict on SRH’s Approach vs RCB

Sunrisers Hyderabad pat Cummins backed the intent of high risk and high reward, in spite of his team suffering a loss of 35 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In their run chase of 206, it was expected that the dazzling duo of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head would once again go after the bowlers from the first ball itself. However, this time the Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowlers bowled tight lines, dismissing both openers inside the first six overs.

Even after ending on a losing side, Pat Cummins backed the approach of Sunrisers Hyderabad, which has given them success in this edition of the IPL.

In his post-match presentation, Pat Cummins said, “Not an ideal night. a few overs not up to par with the ball and losing a few wickets at the start and throughout the innings. I think our approach to playing cricket is not going to work in every match. A couple of games have not been played the way we would have liked. I still believe that this is the way we are going to approach the coming matches.

The boys have done a phenomenal job, and it’s a T-20 cricket match you are not going to win every time. Don’t stress on this too much. I speak after the victory, and Vitori speaks after the loss.”.
