Former team India’s ace spinner, “The Turbnator,” Harbhajan Singh, has voiced his opinion on the Hardik vs. Rohit captaincy saga. With Rohit Sharma all set to play under Hardik Pandaya, there are rumors of a rift between the two players.
Harbhajan too voiced his opinion regarding the same, saying that both players could keep their rift aside and play as a team.
Harbhajan Singh said, “Only time will tell. Who will be comfortable, or who will not? The Mumbai Indians have been a solid and formidable team in the IPL. I am sure they would love to leave the controversies behind and pave the way for the future.”
Rohit Sharma has been regarded as one of the most successful captains of the IPL, and under his captaincy, the Mumbai Indians have won five titles. On the other hand, Hardik Pandaya won the title as the skipper of the Gujrat Titans.
In a recent interview, Hardik Pandaya was asked about whether he was in talks with Rohit Sharma regarding the captaincy change for the Mumbai Indians.
Speaking of which, Hardik Pandaya said, “Yes and no.” I haven’t had a lot of time to talk with Rohit because he has been touring. I will definitely catch up when he links up with the team.”
However, Pandya said that Rohit Sharma would continue to guide him during the IPL in spite of the leadership change in the Mumbai Indians.

Hardik Pandaya said, “It will not be any different; he will always be there to help me. This team, what it has achieved, has achieved under him, and I just have to carry forward that. He is going to have his hand on my shoulders,”
“We respect fans, but we focus on the sport and what is required. I focus on the controllables; fans have every right, and I respect their opinion.”
