Sunrisers Hyderabad Assistant coach Simon Helmot encourages the Orange Army to play aggressive cricket.
Sunrisers Hyderabad were once placed at number 2 in the points table but have lost two back-to-back matches against RCB and CSK and have slipped to number 4 in the points table.
With almost every team in contention for the playoffs, Sunrisers Hyderabad do not have much room for making mistakes. On the other hand, Coach Simon Helmot backs the team, saying that there isn’t any need to change the approach.
In his pre-match conference, Simon Helmot said, “Our single-mindedness is that we wish to play an aggressive brand of cricket, and I think that is what all teams are doing, looking to play an aggressive brand of cricket. It has worked for us on a number of occasions to help us with five wins. Obviously, the last one or two games have not gone in our favor.”
Simon Helmot further added, “We know that if we play a positive brand of cricket, that we keep backing our abilities and look to make the best, you know, decisions possible, you know, in every given ball, that we are going to be in a good position to win this game” .
Sunrisers Hyderabad will be facing the Rajasthan Royals, a team that has performed well in almost every game and looks like an evenly balanced side on paper.
