Prasad feels that Virat Kohli is crucial for India’s success in the upcoming World Cup. Prasad is also optimistic about a great season with the bat for Virat in the upcoming IPL.
In his recent interaction with Star Sports, Msk Prasad said, “Kohli is crucial for India in the T20 World Cup. The selectors can’t think that the IPL is a place for him to prove his quality. He was never out of the team for his form. He missed Indian matches because of family reasons. He has been in good shape for a long time. He will make runs in this IPL as well.”
Prasad also spoke about Dhoni’s commitment to cricket. Speaking about Dhoni, Msk Prasad said, “At 42, Dhoni is still playing for CSK, which shows his commitment to the team.
After playing for a single franchise for so many years, he has made a huge impact on the team and on fans. He played the entire league with an injury to his leg and won the title.”
Virat Kohli will be seen in action this Friday when Royal Challengers Bangaluru take on Chennai Super Kings in the opening encounter of the IPL.
