Want to Know Ravindra Jadeja’s Test Cricket Success Mantra? Brad Haddin Reveals All

Team India is all set to face the Three Lions for the final time in a five-match test series. Both teams are set to take on each other on March 7 in Dharamshala.

In this series, India’s rockstar Ravindra Jadeja has been in some red-hot form. Jadeja has been consistent with both bat and ball. Jadeja has already scored a hundred and played several impactful innings throughout the series. Apart from his heroics with the bat, Jadeja has picked up 17 wickets till now with the ball.

Jadeja in this series till now has scored 217 runs with the bat, picked up 17 wickets with the ball, and is currently the joint highest wicket taker of the series.

Speaking of Ravindra Jadeja’s success with both bat and ball, former Australian Great Bard Haddin said that Jadeja uses natural variation with the ball in hand; he loves to ball wicket to wicket.

In his recent interaction, Haddin said, “Jadeja was always a really interesting one to talk to after a test series. Because all the spinners would go over and say, ‘What, are you undercutting the ball? Are you going over the top?'”.

Haddin further stated: “He goes, ‘I just bowl at the stump.’ And you go, ‘Nah nah nah, what else do you do?’. ” He goes, ‘I bowl at the stump; the wicket will do it. You guys think it’s going to do something.’. ‘What about the straight one?’ He goes, ‘Sometimes it goes straight’.

Haddin said that with this kind of suttle variation, Jadeja is able to create that doubt in the batter’s mind, which leads to misjudgement of delivery and erns him wickets.
