BCCI has announced the squad for the last two Tests of the Border- Gavaskar trophy which is the third and fourth Test of the series. Along with it the squad for the three-match ODI series has also been announced today(February 19, 2023).
The final two Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar trophy are scheduled to be played in Indore and Ahmedabad and will feature an unchanged squad, according to the BCCI. The fourth and final Test of the current series will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with the third Test taking place at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
India has a huge 2-0 lead in the four-match Test series and needs one more win to win the series and clinch a spot in the final of the World Test Championship.
The apex cricket board has confirmed that Rohit Sharma will be unavailable for the ODI series due to family commitments and Hardik Pandya will take the charge of this ODI series for the men in Blue.
