Check The History Of The Naveen-Ul-Haq Dispute With Other Players Of Different Countries

In IPL 2023, on Monday, May 1, a match was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants. Royal Challengers Bangalore won this match by 18 runs. Even though RCB won this match, all its limelight was stolen by Naveen of Lucknow Super Giants. Naveen-ul-Haq scored 13 runs in 13 balls. Apart from this, he also took 3 wickets by giving 30 runs in 4 overs, but Naveen is in the headlines not because of his performance but because of his fight with Virat Kohli.

Afghanistani pacer Naveen Ul Haque is playing for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023. Their fight started during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore when he came to bat on the field with Amit Mishra. The matter started in the 17th over. There was an argument between Mohammad Siraj and Naveen ul Haq. Virat Kohli jumped into this debate. After this, there was a clash between Virat and Naveen, in which Amit Mishra and the umpire intervened and resolved the matter.

However, Naveen-ul-Haq’s dispute with a senior player is not new. He has earlier clashed with senior players from two other countries.

Earlier, during the Sri Lankan Premier League, Naveen-ul-Haq also clashed with two senior Pakistani players, Mohammad Amir and Shahid Afridi. In the tournament match between Kandy Tuskers and Gladiators, Naveen had earlier said some abusive words to Mohammad Amir, which started a fight between the two. Naubat had come to a scuffle, but some players and umpires had pacified the matter.

After the match, the players of both teams shook hands with each other. At that time, former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi smilingly asked Naveen-ul-Haq what he was saying to Mohammad Amir. Once again, Naveen-ul-Haq used derogatory words with Shahid Afridi, which angered Afridi. Here too, there was a heated argument between Naveen and Afridi.

Naveen ul Haq is a fast bowler from Afghanistan, but at the same time, he plays in T20 leagues around the world. Apart from IPL, he also plays in Lanka Premier League, Abu Dhabi T10 League, Bangladesh Premier League, Big Bash League, Caribbean Premier League, International League T20 and Pakistan Super League. Lucknow Super Giants bought Naveen for Rs 50 lakh. Naveen ul Haq is also known as the ‘Bumrah’ of Afghanistan.
