During a highly intense match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators at the National Stadium in Karachi, former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir became embroiled in a controversy.
In this match, Amir was playing for the Quetta Gladiators and when visited the ground, a section of the crowd started chanting “fixer-fixer”, as the bowler was found guilty of involvement in spot-fixing back in 2010. This incident resulted in a heated verbal exchange between Mohammad Amir and a fan, prompting security personnel to intervene and resolve the situation.
This is a very bad Culture ,Fans should be respectable towards player, specially for a player like Amir who had done soo much for Pakistan … He is Pakistan's pride pic.twitter.com/09CBJSz3AE

Mohammad Amir, visibly upset by the taunts, confronted the individual responsible for the chants. In response, Amir said, “Ghar se yehi seekh ke aate ho” (Is this what you learn at your home?).”
In the match, Quetta Gladiators emerged victorious over Lahore Qalandars, and Amir played a role in his team’s success by taking a wicket. However, the off-field confrontation overshadowed the game’s outcome, bringing attention to Amir’s controversial past.
The fast bowler had faced a five-year ban from international cricket due to his involvement in the spot-fixing scandal. However, he was cleared to play again in 2015. Since then, he has been working diligently to reconstruct his career and reputation, participating in both international cricket and various T20 leagues globally.
