On 4th May, Chennai Super Kings will clash against Lucknow Supergiants at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium. This match is to be played from 3.30 pm, and on this day, there is also voting for the civic body in Lucknow. The district administration is not ready for this competition. And this match may be played without the audience.

According to a UPCA official, shifting the match to another city is impossible. In such a situation, the match between LSG and CSK will likely be played without spectators. However, BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla will soon meet Chief Minister Yogi.

UPCA CEO Ankit Chatterjee says there are civic elections in Lucknow on 4th May, and security arrangements can be a big issue in such a situation. But, so far, the district administration has yet to express any inability.

There was also a meeting on Tuesday regarding the security arrangements for the upcoming matches at Ekana Stadium. In addition to senior officers of the police administration, officials of the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and the Board of Control for Cricket in India were also present.

Ankit Chatterjee said nothing special happened in the meeting regarding the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings. However, the BCCI and the district administration must take the final decision on this.

IPL is being organized for the first time at Ekana Stadium. Lucknow Super Giants must play seven matches at their home ground Ekana Stadium. Two matches have been played in these. Lucknow Super Giants registered a resounding victory in both these matches.

There are five more matches to be played here. These matches are to be held on 15th April, 22nd April, 1st May, 4th May, and 16th May. But the notification of civic elections cooled the enthusiasm of the sports fans regarding the high voltage match between Lucknow and Chennai.

Conducting the match on election day will be a big challenge for the district administration. That’s why the middle way is being taken out.
BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla will meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and soon decide. Currently, it is impossible to transfer this match to any other city.
