“I will take any step at….” Pakistani Cricketer Threatened Pakistani Cricket Board If He Will Be Again Dropped Without Giving Any Reason

Pakistan cricket board and controversies are similar words because controversies always surround them. Recently, news emerged that Shahid Afridi wanted Babar Azam to be replaced as captain. The controversy had not stopped, yet another big thing had come to the fore.

Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has threatened the selectors that if he is dropped from the team without informing him, then the result will not be good. Imad Wasim was recently selected in the Pakistan squad for the three T20 International series against Afghanistan.

Imad Wasim was out of the national team for over a year. Before his return, he played the last T20 International match against Australia in Dubai in November 2021. In a conversation with a local TV channel, Wasim revealed that the selectors dropped him from the national team without giving any reason.

Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim said, “The selectors kept me out of the national team for the last one to one-and-a-half years without giving any reason. Now I will not let this happen again. This time my actions will be important. If I am thrown out without informing, I will take any step at that career stage.”

Imad Wasim further said, “He suffered no financial loss for not playing in the national team. He could earn more when he was not a part of the national team. When I was out of the team, there was no loss financially. I was earning more than what I earned by playing for Pakistan.”

The Pakistan all-rounder said that he has full faith in his abilities. And if he hasn’t the ability, why do Australia And South Africa want him?

“I have full faith in my ability. If I were a bowler who depended on the situation, the T20 league teams in Australia and South Africa would not have selected me. Imad Wasim will be seen in action in the five T20 International series against New Zealand.” said Imad Wasim.

Imad Wasim represented Pakistan in 61 T20 Internationals and scored 434 runs with the help of one half-century. He also took 57 wickets. Recently, Wasim participated in the Pakistan Super League, where he scored 404 runs with the help of three half-centuries and took 9 wickets.
