The southpaw has revealed that the 2024 T20I Men’s T20 World cup could be his last. The tournament will be hosted by the USA and the Caribbean island.

Talking to Sky Sports, David Warner said, “This(2024 T20I World Cup) will most likely be the last year of my international career.”

He further added, “I’ve got my sights set on the 2024 [T20] World Cup as well, so finishing in the Americas, that’d be nice to top it off with a win over there, pending selection.”

David Warner has been part of many occasional events in cricket history, from Australia winning the ODI World Cup to SRH lifting the IPL trophy under his captaincy. This year as well, the Aussie will most likely captain Delhi Capitals in the absence of injured Rishabh Pant.
