Hardik Pandya’s profanity-filled outburst at the Indian dugout during the 2nd One-Day International between India and Sri Lanka is currently being telecast live from Kolkata’s famed Eden Gardens. The replacement fielders’ request for water from the locker room enraged Hardik.
Hardik was overheard saying, “Paani manga tha last over *** Marwa rahe ho udhar,” after the conclusion of the 11th over. Fans immediately noticed Hardik’s tense exchange, and the video of it quickly went viral on social media. The Indian vice-captain was enraged with his teammates for taking so long to deliver water to the playing field.
In terms of the game, Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat first to salvage the series. The visitors got off to a strong start when rookie Nuwanidu Fernando reached fifty. However, as they quickly lost wickets, the visitors fell apart, going from 101-1 to 126-6. They were eventually bowled out with a final score of just 215.
Kuldeep Yadav, who replaced the injured Yuzvendra Chahal in the lineup after missing the first game, was the star of the Indian bowling attack as he claimed three wickets. Mohammed Siraj contributed as well, taking three victims. Umran Malik kept up his impressive play by claiming two crucial wickets. Axar Patel contributed one scalp as well.
