BCCI Is Supreme Body And Every IPL Teams…’ Jay Shah Strict Warnings To All IPL Teams Over Players Like Kishan

Team India is currently up against England in a five-match test series; however, looking at Team India’s cricket calendar, the upcoming few months are going to be very crucial for Team India. As soon as Team India’s series with England ends, Test cricket will be taken over by the T20 bonanza, with IPL action taking over the cricket world, but as the IPL gets over, Team India will be all set to play the T20 World Cup.

It is already clear from BCCI that Team India is going to enter the mega showpiece event under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. Moreover, BCCI’s secretary, Jay Shah, has revealed that the IPL franchise needs to follow some guidelines regarding the players who are the front runners in the T20 World Cup.

Jay Shah said, “This is a mandate from BCCI, and all the franchises need to follow whatever is being said by BCCI, as BCCI is the supreme body of Indian cricket.”

Jay Shah further told the media that the players have been informed over the phone, and letters will also be written to them saying that if the coach or selection committee wants, the player will have to play red ball cricket.

However, Jay Shah said that everything will be done under the supervision of the medical team at NCA, as they don’t want to force anything over the player’s body.

It applies to whoever is fit and young; we are not going to tolerate any other tantrums. This message is for all centrally contracted players,” said Shah, providing further clarity.

“Everyone will have to play; otherwise, the chairman of the selection committee has given me his suggestions, and I am going to give him a free hand to let him take his own calls freely,” he added.
