‘Bandar Kata Hai Isliye Tez Bhagta Hai’, Shubman Gill Hilarious Interruption On Rinku Singh’s Fitness

Star Indian left-handed batter Rinku Singh has been magnificent for team India since his debut with the second string team in T20Is. In the recently concluded T20I series against Australia Rinku Singh played an important role in clinching the series against the Aussies by 4-1.

Now India is gearing up for the T20I series against South Africa starting from December 10 and it will be the first time that Rinku Singh will be playing under the coaching of Rahul Dravid, unlike previous time where VVS Laxman was designated as the head coach of India.

While having a conversation with BCCI.tv Rinku Singh has talked how Rahul Dravid has motivated him to establish his place in the India’s T20 World Cup Squad.

Working with Rahul sir is a great feeling. His message was simple, ‘Do what you have been doing so far and believe in yourself.’ He said your position is No. 5 where batting is not easy but keep believing in yourself,” Rinku said

I’ve been playing at No. 5 since 2013. I played for UP at the same position and I know it’s not easy. You have to bat when the top 3-4 batters are out and you need to put a partnership. So, I try to keep myself calm as much as I can,” he added.

Rinku also talked about his secret of fitness. The left-handed batter said,”I’ve always been conscious about my fitness. I can run faster and it was in mind that when I play on a big stage, my fitness has to be top-notch,” Rinku added.

While Rinku was commenting on the above line, his teammate Shubman Gill came and stood behind him and interrupted saying that the fitness of Rinku is associated with monkeys.

Gill said,”Bandar kata hai isiliye tez bhagta hai (He has been running fast since getting bitten by a monkey).”
