Punjab Kings pace bowler Harshal Patel feels that the Punjab Kings are still in very good shape for making their way into the top 4. The Punjab Kings were beaten by CSK in their own backyard for the first time since 2021.
With the loss against CSK Punjab Kings are placed at number 8 in the points table with 4 wins out of 11 matches. Punjab Kings are now in a do-or-die situation and need to win all three matches from this point on.
Harshal Patel said, “We just need to play good cricket. In terms of the playoff race, in 13 years of playing in the IPL, I have never seen teams out of the race or qualified before 13 and 14 games are done. So, we are still in the race.”
Harshal Patel further added, “As a team, we know that when we play a good brand of cricket and everyone does their job, we play our part well. We know that we can beat any team on any ground.”.
Punjab Kings will be up against Royal Challengers Bangaluru on May 9 in Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala.
