WI vs IND, 1st ODI: India Beat West Indies By 5 Wickets, Ishan Kishan Smashed A Blistering Fifty

In the first ODI between India and West Indies played at Kensington Oval, Barbados, India beat West Indies by six wickets. With this team, India has taken a lead of 1-0 in the three-match ODI series.In this match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first. The west Indian batter could not overcome the spinners trap from team India and they kept losing their wicket on a regular interval. The team was bundled out on 114 runs in 23 overs. For the hosts, captain Shai Hope scored the maximum 43 runs while Alick Athanaze contributed with 22 runs.For India, chinaman Kuldeep Yadav got 4 wickets while Ravindra Jadeja dismissed three batters. On the other hand, Mukesh Kumar, Shardul Thakur and Hardik Pandya managed to get one wicket each.While chasing the target of 115 runs, India also lost Shubman Gill on 18 when he was sent back to the dressing room by Jayden Seales on the individual score of seven runs. After this India lost its second wicket on 54 runs in the form of Suryakumar Yadav who scored 19 runs off 25 deliveries.For the West Indies, Gudakesh Motie got two wickets, while Jayden Seales and Yannic Cariah got one wicket each.After this Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja(16) and skipper Rohit Sharma(12) took India home with five wickets in hand and chased the target in 22.5 overs.
