What Rohit Sharma Reacted After 3 Consecutive Ducks For Suryakumar Yadav In IND-AUS ODI series?

Indian middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav is going through a poor form. In the recently concluded three-match ODI series Suryakumar Yadav got three consecutive ducks and he was bashed by fans and some cricket experts on social media.

While chasing 270 runs, Suryakumar was dismissed for a third consecutive golden duck in the series by spinner Ashton Agar in the 36th over. After the match, Rohit expressed his regret over the dismissal and recognized that the right-handed batsman had been struggling in ODIs.

Skipper Rohit Sharma said, “He only played three balls in three (games) this series. I don’t know how much to look into it. He got three good balls, to be honest. Today, it wasn’t that good ball; he should have gone forward. He knows best. He plays spin so well. We have seen that over the last couple of years.”

He further added, “That’s why we held him back and gave him that role for the last 15-20 overs where he can play his game, but it’s really unfortunate he could only play three balls. That can happen to anyone. But the potential and ability are always there. He is just going through that phase right now.”
