The remarkable thing about this jersey is that Rani Lakshmibai, India’s freedom fighter, has been honored with this jersey. Taking inspiration from Rani Laxmibai, UP Warriorz has launched its jersey.
UP Warriorz unveiled the jersey through social media, where they wrote in the caption, ‘This is our team jersey which takes inspiration from Rani Laxmibai.’
UP Warriorz has appointed Australia’s legendary opener and wicketkeeper, Alyssa Healy, as the Women’s Premier League captain. At the same time, India’s all-rounder Deepti Sharma will be seen as the vice-captain. UP Warriorz team is full of influential players, including Sophie Ecclestone and Lauren Bell of England, Tahila McGrath and Grace Harris of Australia and Shabnim Ismail of South Africa.
This time 5 women’s teams will participate in this league, which include Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Delhi Capitals (DC), Gujarat Giants (GJ), UP Warriors (UPW) and Mumbai Indians (MI).
