Team India has picked their Magical Spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzi Chahal for the upcoming T-20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be played in the USA and West Indies in the coming month.
Speaking about the duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzi Chahal, Piyush Chawla feels that the duo will be very important for India’s success in the upcoming World Cup.
After Mumbai’s loss against the Knight Riders, Piyush Chawla feels that it has become quite easy for batters to hit the fast bowlers in today’s time. In modern times, it is the spinners that make the difference in the match.
In his post-match presentation, Piyush Chawla said, “When the T20 format came, nobody preferred spinners that much, but if you now see around the world, the spinners are doing the damage. All the batters want the ball to come fast at their bat, but when the ball is slowed down, they have to generate the energy.”
Chawla further added, “Looking at Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal, Chahal started off brilliantly in the IPL.
Kuldeep has also been doing well for the last one and a half years. It will be a great combination if both of them get to play together. In the West Indies and USA, wickets will be on the slower side, and they will be quite useful there.”
