Rajasthan Royals explosive batter Rovman Powell is all set to lead the West Indies in the upcoming T-20 World Cup, which starts next month. The team also includes Gabba’s sensation, Shemar Joseph, who is currently playing with the Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing IPL season.
The squad looks strong on paper, with various power hitters in the lineup, which include Shemron Hytmyer, Nicholas Pooran,and Andre Russell.
The squad also has genuine all-rounders in both the pace and spin departments. With Roston Chase, Jason Holder, etc., Pacer Alzari Joseph has been named as the vice captain of the side.
The 2012 and 2016 winners are placed in groups alongside New Zealand, Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea, and Uganda.
