“Really infectious…” Faf Du Plessis Drops A Massive Praise On Virat Kohli Ahead Of The Upcoming IPL Season

Team India and RCB star batter Virat Kohli are all set to join his franchise ahead of the upcoming IPL season. Virat Kohli has been out of action for quite some time but is all set to feature in the upcoming IPL season for men in red.

Virat Kohli, who was from the from the UK and Ireland, took a break from international cricket due to the birth of his second child but was recently seen in Mumbai with just a few days left for RCB’s opening encounter.

Speaking about his opening partner Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis said that Kohli is one of the best players he likes batting with because he brings a lot of energy to the table.

In his interaction with star sports, Faf du Plessis said, “Batting is probably the other thing that we click on equally. You know, it is unbelievable to bat with him. He’s one of my favorite guys to bat with. He brings out so much energy in me; sometimes, I feel like I’m fist-bumping my glove through his hand because he gets so passionate. I remember him being out there in the middle, which is really infectious—the way he gives that energy—and I remember being in the opposition and how that really is.”

Faf du Plessis further stated, “Let’s hope for that amount of energy, because it was like this guy is just always on. How did you manage it? So it’s really infectious—the same thing on the field—because, like catching balls, we are both very competitive, and I make sure we get those good catches for the team. So he’s really important to me in terms of the field. I think, indeed, we can do so many things fast as a team. But fielding is, he said, so he sets the time for the energy on the field.”
RCB is all set to clash against defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the IPL’s opening encounter on March 22.
