His message to England is clear: they need to regroup quickly, or they might as well book their return tickets now, possibly at a discounted price, given the state of their performance in the tournament.
In a video shared from his YouTube channel, Aakash delivered a candid message to the English side. “What should I say about England? You haven’t left me in a position to say anything. Regroup a little, and if it’s like this, you can book your return tickets now as you will get them slightly cheap. There is still some time left.”
In his analysis, Aakash expressed his concerns about England’s commitment to progress. He pointed out that their style of play needs to reflect the ambition expected from defending champions. While he acknowledged his respect for England, he minced no words when criticising the cricket brand they currently exhibit.
“I don’t feel you even want to progress because you are not playing cricket like that. I have a lot of respect for England, but not for the cricket they are playing. You used to talk about the brand, but the situation is very bad,” the 46-year-old former cricketer added.
