In the 50th match of the Indian Premier League, Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Rajasthan Royals by 1 run. It was a thriller where RR required two runs in the last over but Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed Rovman Powell to get an important win.
In this match, while batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 201 runs in 20 overs at the loss of three wickets. For the team, Nitish Reddy scored the maximum 76 runs in 42 balls with the help of three fours and eight sixes, Travis Head got 58 runs while Heinrich Klaasen contributed with 42 runs.
For RR, Avesh Khan got two wickets while Sandeep Sharma managed to get one.
While chasing the target, RR did not have a strong start and Jos Buttler returned to the pavilion with a score of zero runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 67 runs for the team while Riyan Parag got 77 runs but they failed to take their team to victory.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar got three wickets for India, while Pat Cummins and T Natarajan managed to get two wickets each.
For outstanding bowling display, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was adjudged as the man of the match.
