Zimbabwe is all set to host the Men in Blue for a Twenty20 series consisting of five matches. The teams are set to lock horns in July.
All the matches are scheduled to be played in Harare and kick off within a week after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup.
The matches will be played on July 6, 7, 10, 13, and 14 at the Harare Sports Club.
The official confirmation of this tour comes after the discussions between the Zimbabwe Cricket Board and the BCCI, with the primary objective of strengthening bilateral ties and promoting a spirit of collaboration between the two cricketing boards,” ZC said in a statement.
ZC Chairman Mr. Tavengwa Mukuhlani said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be hosting India for a T20I series in July in what will be our biggest international attraction at home this year.
“The game of cricket has always immensely benefited from India’s influence and dedication to the sport, and I would like to say a huge thank you to the BCCI for committing to tour Zimbabwe once again.”
On the other hand, BCCI Honorary Secretary Mr. Jay Shah said: “The BCCI has always played a pivotal role in contributing to the global cricketing community. We understand that it is a period of transition for Zimbabwe, and Zimbabwe Cricket needs our support at this stage.

The series between the two teams is set to start on July 6, with the final match of the series being played on July 14.
