WATCH: MS Dhoni Visits Deori Mata Temple Before IPL 2024, Video Gets Viral

Former captain of team India and the current skipper of Chennai Super Kings Mahendra Singh Dhoni recently visited Deori Mandir to seek blessings from Goddess Maa Durga ahead of the IPL 2024. The temple is situated approximately 60 km from Ranchi in Tamar village.

Dhoni’s last appearance in action was during the IPL last year in May, where he led the CSK side to their fifth championship by defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final match. After the IPL, he underwent knee surgery and was under rehabilitation for some weeks.

The wicket-keeper batter has already started batting practice in the nets at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium in Ranchi. This is a sign that MS Dhoni has started the preparation for the upcoming season of the IPL.

A fan posted a video on X, sharing a recent glimpse of MS Dhoni away from the cricket field. The veteran cricketer is featured in a queue at the Deori Mata temple.

These days MS Dhoni can be seen in a long-hair look that he used to keep in his initial days of career. His current look has generated a kind of buzz among cricket fans that it could be the last IPL for the veteran cricketer.

However, the star Indian pacer and one of the teammates of MS Dhoni in Chennai Super Kings Deepak Chahar has said that the skipper can play cricket for more than 2-3 years irrespective of his looking at his sheer fitness level.
