No Virat, No Rohit, BCCI Picked The List Of The Best Players Of All Formats

Another year has ended without any ICC trophy in the bag. The expectation of winning the Asia Cup 2022 and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup ended up in disappointment. Indian team is counted as one of the best teams in the cricketing world, but their performance on the big stage always disappointed their fans, and their humiliating exit from the T20 World Cup 2022 was one of them.

Meanwhile, after all the disappointments Indian team has got some impactful players like Suryakumar Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Risabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer. They have performed exceptionally well this year, and some stand-out performances stand them in the elite list.

Looking at the best player’s performance in the different formats, BCCI released the list of the best player in Test, ODI and T20I.

In the Test, they named Rishabh Pant the best batter and Jasprit Bumrah the best bowler. Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant played 7 matches in which he scored 680 runs with an outstanding average of 61.81. His highest individual score is 146, and he has four fifties and two hundred. Jasprit Bumrah has been named the best bowler and has 22 wickets in 5 test matches. He has grabbed two five-wicket hauls this year.

In the One Day Internationals format, BCCI has named Shreyas Iyer as the best batter, Mohd. Siraj is the best bowler. Shreyas has played 17 ODIs matches this year and has scored 724 runs with the help of an outstanding average of 55.69. His highest individual score is 113*, with one hundred and six fifties to his name. Mohd. Siraj has grabbed 24 wickets to his name in the 15 matches with an economy of 4.62, and his best bowling figure is 3/29.

In T20I cricket, Suryakumar Yadav is picked as the best batter. He has scored 1164 runs in 31 matches with a remarkable average of 46.56, and his highest individual score is 117. He has 2 hundred and 9 fifties to his name. Indian veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar is named as the best bowler for his remarkable performance in the shortest format. He took 37 wickets in 32 matches with an economy of 6.98, and his best bowling figure is 5/4.
