Is The Time Running Out For Rajat Patidar?

Team India is currently playing against England in Ranchi in the fourth test match of the series;

however, team India’s middle-order batter, Rajat Patidar, has completely failed to light up the series with the bat for team India.
After his impressive run in first-class cricket, Rajat Patidar finally got the opportunity to represent India at the highest level in the longest format of the game when KL Rahul was ruled out for the second test against England due to a quadriceps strain.
Rajat Patidar made his debut for India in the second test and made an impressive 32 in his debut inning, getting out to Rehan Ahmed in his debut inning.

However, after 32 innings, Rajat Patidar has failed completely, with the bat getting dismissed by spinners in his next four innings. In three test matches of the series, Patidar has scored 63 runs so far at an average of 12.63.

On the second day of the fourth test match, Patidar scored 17 points, which included four boundaries, and was dismissed by Shoaib Bashir.

Patidar has gotten out five times, each time against Spinner. He even has a duck registered to his name.

However, Rajat Patidar will get another chance to bat in the second innings of the fourth test match, but with Sarfraz scoring a prolific two-half centuries on his debut for India, it’s high time for Rajat Patidar to score some runs to keep his place in the team.

Because when players like Rahul and Kohli return to the setup, it will be a tough job for Rajat to keep his place in the side without runs under his belt.
