Chennai Super Kings has got a major setback before the IPL 2023. The star kiwi pacer Kyle Jamieson to whom CSK got in the auction on his base price is now suffering a back stress fracture and it will take him a long time for the recovery.
Due to the back injury Jamieson has been ruled out from the Test series against England. With his continuous injuries Jamieson will not only miss the last two Tests against England but he is also doubtful for IPL 2023.
According to a report, Chennai Super Kings will very soon announce the replacement for the Kiwi bowler.
After not playing in an international cricket match since June, when he first sustained the back injury in England, Jamieson had been expected to participate in at least one of the next Test matches.
England head coach, Gary Stead said,”It’s really gutting for Kyle to have this happen after he’d put so much hard work into getting himself back on the park.”
