India and Australia are facing each other in a four-match Test series in which the Rohit Sharma side has already won the first match played in Nagpur. The team came with a superb performance where the spin twins Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin demolished the batting lineup of Australians and helped to secure an innings 132 run win.
Before the start of the Test series, India was dealt a serious blow when star pacer Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of the first two games. However, Shami and Siraj didn’t miss a beat and performed brilliantly. Bumrah has not played for India since September 25, 2022 due to a long-standing back injury.
Earlier, it was believed that Jasprit Bumrah will be available for the last Tests but now according to a latest report in PTI, the bowler is not going to make his comeback anytime soon and he will also not be available for the three-match ODI series against Australia which is a big setback for team India.
After the Border-Gavaskar trophy, On March 17, 19, and 22, India and Australia will play three one-day internationals (ODIs), but Bumrah will not participate and he will be making his comeback in the Indian Premier League of 2023.
