Devon Conway Became The Fastest Kiwi Batter To Accomplish This Record

New Zealand wicketkeeper batter Devon Conway achieved another milestone in test cricket and became the fastest kiwi batter to complete 1000 runs in 19 innings of 11 test matches. Devon reached this feat in the ongoing test series against Pakistan in Karachi. With this record, Devon surpassed John Reid, who completed 1000 test runs in 20 innings.

The record of the fastest 1000 runs in the longest cricket format was in Herbert Sutcliffe’s name. He completed this record on just 12 test innings in 1925.

The record of Devon Conway in test cricket is impressive, and he has played 11 test matches with an average of 55.55. Conway has scored 3 hundred and 5 five half centuries, and the 200 mark is his highest individual total.
