The loss has caused RCB omission from the race of playoffs and four teams along with GT have been finalized for the next venture of this cash-rich league.

During this match, the star batter of RCB Virat Kohli injured his knee while taking the catch of GT batter Vijay Shankar in the 15th over of Gujarat’s innings. India will soon compete against Australia in the World Test Championship final, and there are concerns about Virat Kohli’s injury. However, RCB head coach Sanjay Bangar assured in the press conference that the injury is not severe.

While talking to the media in the press match conference, Sanjay Bangar said, “Yeah, he had a bit of a niggle in his knee. But I don’t think there is anything serious. Having scored two back-to-back hundreds within a gap of 4 days. He is somebody who not only wants to contribute with the bat but even when he is fielding. He did a lot of running around. 40 overs a couple of days ago and today, for 35 overs he was on the field. He was giving his best. So it is going to bother at some point but I don’t think it’s anything serious.”

In this match, both Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill scored a hundred and it was a delightful sight for the fans. RCB posted a score of 197 runs at the loss of five wickets. Chasing the target, Shubman Gill scored 104* runs to take his team home.
