IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Owner, Team Strength & Weakness, X-factors, And Full Squad

Royal Challengers Bangalore has never won an IPL title, but they have reached the finals on three occasions in 2009, 2011, and 2016. The team is captained by South African legend Faf Du Plessis and this year they will enter the tournament with the intention of the title.

RCB Performance In IPL 2022
Last year it was Faf Du Plessis who had the charge of this franchise. RCB had a good season last year and they made it into the playoffs with eight wins and 6 losses in 14 games.

RCB has established a strong and reliable core group. They have maintained their performance and qualified for the playoffs in the last three seasons. The team has a balanced combination of players who excel in both spin and pace, with a good blend of all-round players. They have a strong batting line-up with versatile T20 players such as Srilankan star Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, and Shahbaz from India.
The team has a strong pace bowling attack consisting of Mohammad Siraj, Josh Hazlewood, and Harshal Patel, and their backup players such as Reece Topley, David Willey, and Siddharth Kaul are also performing well.

RCB lacks a batsman who can play aggressively from the start of the innings as both Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli take their time to settle. While Finn Allen has the potential to fill this role, he may not be experienced enough to be a first choice.
In the absence of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal who earlier used to be the trump card for RCB, Hasranga will have to come up front to provide a spin attack in Bangalore.
The England all-rounder Will Jacks has been ruled out from the tournament and in his absence, Kiwi all-rounder Michael Bracewell has got his maiden IPL call.

Ex-factors for RCB in IPL 2023:
Michael Bracewell could be one of those players who can change the fortune of RCB with his bowling and powerful hitting. They will also rely on Wanindu Hasranga to utilize the middle overs. Apart from them, Shahbaz Ahmed could be one player to watch out for in RCB. Rajat Patidar was the most impressive batsman for RCB last season and the team will be expecting the same this year as well.
