Why These 4 Players Are Not There In The T20 World Cup Squad, Dilip Vengsarkar Questions BCCI

Before the T20 World Cup Team India is going through a series of injuries, first to the star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and recently Jasprit Bumrah‘s exclusion from the T20 World Cup has given a severe setback to the Indian Cricket management.

Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar said that there are few names who deserved to be there in the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup 2022. According to the former cricketer, Mohammed Shami along with the Indian batter Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer. He also shouts out for the young pace gun Umran Malik. Dilip Vengsarkar said, “There is no out-of-the-box thinking. I would have picked Umran Malik because of his speed. He is a guy who is bowling 150kmph; you’ve got to pick him now, you can’t pick him when he becomes a 130 kmph bowler.”

He further added, “Shreyas Iyer is in good form and he missed out. Mohammed Shami and Shubman Gill should also be on the team. I am impressed with Gill.”

As we know that Team India has already announced the squad for the T20 World Cup to be played in Australia. Axar Patel has replaced Jadeja in the squad and now the BCCI will announce the replacement for Jasprit Bumrah as well. The reserves for the T20 World Cup are Mohammed Shami, Deepak Chahar, Ravi Bishnoi, and Shreyas Iyer.
