“We don’t discuss whether….” Rohit Sharma’s Impactful Input on Pitch Debate

Team India have thumped England by a huge margin of 434 runs in the Rajkot test as they take on a 2-1 lead in a five-match test series.

However, after England got dismissed with 121 on board inside 42 overs, this again ignited the pitch debate. However, after the match got over, Rohit Sharma gave an impactful input on a pitch debate.

Rohit Sharma said, “We have won a lot of matches on wickets like these. The tracks and pitches where the ball turns remain our main strength. It gives us balance,”Rohit Sharma further added, “We have given results for many years, and we will continue to give results in the future as well.

But as individuals, we don’t have control over a few things; we don’t discuss if we want rank-turners or not. We come here (at the venues) two days before the match, and how much can we do in two days?

The curators decide and make the pitch. We have the strength to play on any wicket and win on it. When we won the Test in South Africa as well, everyone knows what kind of wicket it was,” he said.
