These 3 Indian Players Will Play T20 World Cup For The Last Time, Says Ravi Shastri

Team India is preparing for the T20 World Cup in full force in Australia. Despite multiple injury woes in the bowling line-up, India is looking like a strong contender to lift the cup for the second time.

In a recent interview, Legendary commentator Ravi Shashtri opined that it might be the last time we see these players in T20 cricket. He believes that 3 batters in the current squad might retire from the shortest format to focus on longer formats.
These three players are Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Dinesh Karthik.
Here’s what he said, Come what may, I see India having a new team after this World Cup, much like the team which went in 2007—there was no Tendulkar, Dravid and Ganguly. Dhoni took the side out and won the tournament. The same thing can happen. It is not that they are not good enough, but you want them for the other two formats, there is a World Cup coming next year, so you don’t want to burden those players.”
According to former national coach Ravi Shastri, India’s batting strength is sufficient and they may win the T20 World Cup if their fielding improves.
He is confident for team India performing well in this tournament. He anticipates that Indian batsmen would fare well in Australia.
