“Shreyas Injured, Things’s Isn’t Good For KKR…” Aakash Chopra Noteworthy Comment For KKR Regarding IPL 2023

India’s premier batter Shreyas Iyer is suffering from back injury and is ruled out of the ongoing test match against Australia. As per the report of BCCI, it has yet to be confirmed that Iyer will take part in the upcoming ODI series against Australia. BCCI took this action after Shreyas complained about his back pain, after which he was taken for a scan, but there is no further confirmation. After the fourth test is over, an immediate meeting of the BCCI selection committee headed by Shiv Sundar Das will be called, and a decision can be taken regarding Shreyas Iyer’s availability for ODI series.

After the one-day series against Australia, Indian Premier League will be started, and every franchise has already set its practice camp, and players are practicing. Shreyas Iyer is the skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders.

Former Indian cricketer and renowned commentator Aakash Chopra showed his concern about Shreyas’ fitness because he has already missed the ODI series against New Zealand and the first test match against Australia in the BGT series. Now, his place in the ODI team is also doubtful. Speaking on this, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra explained that the Indian team has the backup of Shreyas so they can cope with his injury, but IPL franchise KKR can’t handle his injury because they haven’t any backup for Shreyas Iyer.

“Shreyas Iyer’s back issue is becoming a recurring problem now. Team India may still cope with it, but KKR will be sweating out on his fitness. They have no backup available for Shreyas, and things aren’t looking good for them,” said Aakash Chopra.
