Danish Kaneria believes that India should move Rohit Sharma to 3 no. slot and promote Virat Kohli with KL Rahul as his opening partner. After the defeat against Australia, Kaneria said, ” Rohit Sharma is not able to make runs. We have seen the same thing in the Asia Cup. He is getting the start, but unable to make a big score.”
He further added, ” Rohit should bat at no. 3 spot and promote Virat Kohli to open the innings. Or India should move KL Rahul to no. 3 and open the innings with Rohit and Virat. “
