Robin Uthappa Leaves Out India, Picks These 4 Teams As The Semifinalists Of The T20 World Cup

The super 12 contests in the ongoing T20 World Cup is on now. In the first match, New Zealand played in a beast mode, and they managed to get an 89-run win against the defending champions.

Meanwhile, former Indian batter Robin Uthappa made a shocking prediction when asked about the semi-finalists of the T20 World Cup 2022. Uthappa did not pick his own Rohit Sharma’s side Team India in the list of his four semifinal teams. He said that Pakistan and South Africa from Group B would make it into the playoffs. While speaking on ESPNCricinfo, the right-hand batter said that in his honest opinion South Africa and Pakistan are the much deserving teams to be there in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup. Uthappa said, “I want to start with a disclaimer. I do not think Indian fans would be too happy. But my semi-finalists would be Australia, England, Pakistan, and South Africa.” Uthappa’s choices came as a surprise to those who were sitting there in the discussion Panel. The other panel members included the likes of Anil Kumble, Sam Billings, Faf du Plessis, Stephen Fleming, Tom Moody, Farveez Maharoof, and Daren Ganga.

Apart from Uthappa, all these superstars picked India, England, Pakistan, and Australia as their common teams.
