Team India’s star all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, has been all over the news for quite a while now. India is currently facing England for the third test match of the series in Rajkot.

In the third test match against England, he became the third Indian all-rounder to complete 3000 test runs and pick up more than 250 test wickets.
Jadeja played a brilliant knock of 110*, notching up his sixth hundred in the longest format of the game. Team India’s former World Cup-winning captain, Kapil Dev, is at the top of the list with 5248 runs and 434 wickets in 131 test matches. Kapil Dev is followed by Ravindra Jadeja’s teammate Ravichandran Ashwin, who has made 3271 runs and picked up 499 wickets in 98 test matches.
Jadeja has so far scored 3003 runs with the bat and picked up 280 wickets in the 70 test matches he has played so far.

Jadeja had a brilliant day with the bat for team India, as he had a partnership of 204 runs with skipper Rohit Sharma after India slipped to 33/3. Jadeja and Rohit Sharma (131) scored hundreds on day one for India. The hosts are placed at (326/5) with Jadeja (110) and Kuldeep (1) in the middle for India to take things forward for hosts on day two.
