He is the fastest batsman to reach 2000 and 2500 T20I runs.

He has highest individual score for a Pakistani captain in ODIs. He is one of 3 Pakistani batsmen to score a century in all formats and has the highest T20I score for Pakistan. In the PSL he is the highest run scorer in 2020 with 473 runs and in 2021 with and 554 runs. He was the first Pakistani and fourth captain to score a century in every format. The 425 balls he faced is the fourth most by a player in the fourth innings of a Test match.
