Not Kohli Or Babar But This Batter Is The Best In T20s, Claims Michael Hussey

A few days before Australia hosts the 2022 World Cup, England and Australia faced a battle in a three-match T20I series. As they get ready for the main event, the bitter rivals—who are viewed as two of the favourites to win the trophy this year—played a fun three-match series against one another.
Dawid Malan, a top-order batsman for England, completed 50 matches for the national team in the shortest format during the second game of the series. Malan has been among the most reliable performers in modern international white-ball cricket, and for a considerable amount of time, he held the top spot in the ICC rankings for T20I hitters.
Michael Hussey, England’s batting consultant for the T20 World Cup, gave Malan a special camp before the second T20I of the series on Wednesday (October 12), showered him with accolades, and declared him to be better than international superstars Virat Kohli and Babar Azam.
Here’s the video of Michael Hussy giving Dawid Malan his 50th T20I cap, posted by England Cricket:

In the video, he went praised Malan. He said, “Well, this is something I never thought I will do in my lifetime, an English cap. Congratulations to Mal, who is playing his 50th game for England today. Obviously a lot of highlights in your career already – one of four centurions for England, second-highest scorer ever in the history of T20 cricket, right behind Alex Hales, the number one player in the world for a period of time and also the fastest ever to 1000 runs, better than Virat Kohli and Babar Azam, I believe, quicker by a few games.”
played a quick-fire inning of 82 in only 49 balls to help England win the second T20I by an 8-run margin, giving them a 2-0 series lead. Rain on Friday caused the third and final game of the series to be cancelled (October 14).
