‘Jasprit Bumrah doesn’t even come close to Shaheen Afridi’s level’

Shaheen Shah Afridi and Jasprit Bumrah, two of the best fast bowlers in the world right now, will hopefully return to competitive cricket shortly after being out for a while. Both India and Pakistan are hoping that their respective players will become fully fit as soon as possible. Afridi has struggled with knee problems, while Bumrah has been sidelined due to a back injury.

Shaheen Afridi was injured and Pakistan ended as the runners-up at the Asia Cup 2022 and during that tournament, . He did, however, make a comeback for the T20 World Cup in Australia, when Pakistan again came in second place. Afridi suffered a further injury to his already damaged knee while playing in the tournament’s finals, worsening it and making him miss the remainder of the season.

Abdul Razzaq, a former Pakistan all-rounder and current member of the Pakistan selection committee, made an awful comparison between the two pacers and criticized the Indian.

While talking to a local news channel, Razzaq said,”Shaheen Afridi is way better than Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah is nowhere close to Shaheen’s level.”

Returning to Afridi and Bumrah, the pace bowler from Pakistan has been spotted practising in the nets and is anticipated to return during the forthcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL), which begins on February 13.

Additionally, Bumrah has not been put at risk by the BCCI and will not play in the opening two Tests of the eagerly awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which begins on February 9 in Nagpur.
