Ishan Kishan Unhappy With Management, Reason Is The Selection Of This Player In Team India

Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan reportedly expressed his dissatisfaction with the selectors’ decision to include Jitesh Sharma in the T20I squad against South Africa.

This issue gained spark after the conclusion of the second Test in Vizag, where KS Bharat faced challenges with low scores, prompting concerns about Ishan Kishan’s exclusion from both the Test series and domestic matches.

Ishan Kishan was notably absent from five games for Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy and reportedly conveyed his displeasure about the inclusion of Jitesh Sharma in the T20Is against South Africa. This unhappiness might have influenced his choice to abstain from the Test series in South Africa.

The opportunity for Ishan Kishan’s return arose when coach Rahul Dravid decided to relieve KL Rahul of his wicketkeeping duties during the Tests against England. While talking about Ishan Kishan, Dravid highlighted the potential for a comeback.

“There’s a path for everyone to return. We don’t exclude anyone from consideration. I simply don’t want to dwell on the matter of Ishan Kishan,” he said.

Dravid further clarified that Ishan Kishan had requested a break, which the team was willing to permit. He emphasized that there was no compulsion for Kishan to play domestic cricket for his return to the team.

“When he feels prepared, he should engage in cricket and make a comeback, the decision is entirely his. We aren’t pressuring him, and we stay connected with him. We’re aware of the situation, but he hasn’t resumed playing yet, correct?”, he added.
