The experienced Indian opener was dismissed without scoring any runs against the Chennai Super Kings in his previous match which marked his second consecutive duck in the tournament.
Even though Rohit Sharma has been struggling with his batting, his teammate and the star Australian all-rounder Cameron Green has expressed his support for the Mumbai Indians captain. Green stated that the team is behind the stylish opener and believes in his abilities. The Australian all-rounder has faith that Sharma will come back in a strong manner and deliver for his team in the upcoming matches of IPL 2023.
While talking to the media ahead of the RCB game, Green said,”We know the allegiance of Rohit with Mumbai Indians and everything that he has done in his career. So, we absolutely back him. He can come back and perform for us, he has batted beautifully in a few games, showing really good tempo on the top. So, we back Rohit all the way.”
