IPL 2023: Rajat Sharma Takes A Dig At Gautam Gambhir After Kohli’s Heroic 100 Against SRH

In a crucial IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2023, Indian batsman Virat Kohli scored a brilliant century to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore to an eight-wicket victory. RCB successfully chased a target of 187 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium and strengthened their chances to enter the playoffs. Kohli made a crucial partnership with Faf Du Plessis and with this win, RCB came to the number four position in IPL 2023.

After Virat Kohli’s remarkable hundred against the SRH in a do-or-die match, the celebrated journalist Rajat Sharma took a harsh swipe at Gautam Gambhir. Previously, Gambhir and Rajat had engaged in a heated argument on social media regarding a verbal spat between Gambhir and Virat during the LSG vs RCB clash. In his tweet, Rajat praised Virat Kohli for his century and indirectly mocked Gambhir.

Rajat Sharma came to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “Magnificent 100 by Virat. It was a delight to watch. Of course, somebody somewhere may not be happy.”

The matter all started when Rajat Sharma came on TV and said that Gambhir always had a problem with Virat Kohli. The Journalist also blamed Gambhir is jealous of Kohli’s success and he can’t digest the milestone the RCB batter has. Rajat Sharma also claimed that Gambhir’s action was against sportsmanship and as an MP he should not have done such things.

After this statement of Rajat Sharma, Gambhir targeted the journalist and tweeted giving a reference to the Popular “Aap Ki Adalat” show. The LSG mentor and former Indian batter wrote,”A man who ran away from the job of running Delhi Cricket, citing pressure seems over-eager to sell paid PR as concern for cricket! yahii kalyug’ hai jhaa ‘bhgodd’e’ apnii ‘adaalt’ chalaate hai (It is, perhaps, a testament to the times we are living in that a truant is running his own court).”
